Hobsons Bay Youth Network (HBYN)
HBYN provides an opportunity for community representatives, youth service providers and government representatives where appropriate with an interest in improving outcomes for young people to:
- Consider the needs of local young people;
- Plan for and encourage enhanced integration and coordination of services across the municipality Identify service gaps and systemic barriers that preclude access to services for young people;
- Provide an avenue for information sharing between youth service providers and with Council;
- Advocate and support the local youth service system;
- Assist council to make informed decisions about policy issues that impact on young people in the municipality;
- Support the implementation of the Youth Services Strategic Plan;
- Support and implement local strategic plans, where appropriate; and
- Working collaboratively on projects.

Western Region Youth Affairs Network
The Western Region Youth Affairs Network (WRYAN) is the regional youth body that supports the regional youth sector and represents youth issues to relevant government departments where appropriate.
The WRYAN also conducts forums on relevant youth issues, conducts consultation and provides a voice for young people. The WRYAN comprises representatives from local government, education, mental health, housing, employment and culturally and linguistically diverse agencies

Wyndham Workers with Young People
This network is open to all workers who work with young people in Wyndham. Each meeting focuses on a topic (ie school disengagement, homelessness, mental health, community engagement etc) where there are presentations from experts as well as the opportunity to workshop about the topic to get a better understanding of it from workers.
There is also the opportunity for workers to share information/updates about their service or upcoming events with others and the meeting is followed by morning tea and informal networking time. The network meets every 6 weeks between 9.30-11.30am at the Youth Resource Centre, 86 Derrimut Road Hoppers Crossing.
