In relation to education and training providers the LLEN as partnership broker:
- influences principals and leaders of training organisations and broker partnerships that enable education and training providers to share responsibility for learning and development, make the curriculum more meaningful for young people and improve education and transition outcomes;
- looks for opportunities to develop relationships with peak education and training associations and with school clusters through representative bodies which have the capacity to influence a number of education and training providers within a region;
- facilitates engagement of peak education and training associations and representative bodies.

Educational opportunities that lead to pathways in further education and employment. Werribee Community Centre offers Foundation, Intermediate and Senior VCAL in an adult community education environment for students aged between 16 and 20 year.
Create delivers accredited training to young people aged 14 to 19 years who are disengaged from mainstream education. Individual Pathways Planning assists young people to make informed choices in regards to further education, training or employment.

The Distance Education Centre, Victoria (DECV) is a P-12 school providing flexible

Hand Brake Turn gives young people a break, providing ‘hands-on’ learning, personal support and links to future employment. It focuses on young people aged 15-19 who are registered as ‘Looking for Work’ with Centrelink, seeking a career in the automotive industry, determined to gain an apprenticeship/traineeship and committed to making a positive change to succeed in the future.

The Youth Resource Centre aims to provide a range of support services and structured programs for young people.
The Council’s Youth Services Team provides a variety of services and support to young people between the ages of 12-25 years who live, work or study within Hobsons Bay.
