Community Revitalisation Project - Wyndham Youth Employment Initiative

Hon. Ben Carroll, Minister of Industry and Employment

The Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources, and Wyndham City Council have developed the Werribee/Tarneit Community Revitalisation Project. The aim is to improve economic and social cohesion outcomes for young people and their families in Werribee and Tarneit.

The Project will be funded for a 3-year period and is inclusive of both Social Innovation Funding (for programs) and Operational Funding (project governance and facilitation). The project will include strong partnerships with a range of community agencies and business networks.

The project was officially launched on Monday 13th August 2018 by the Hon. Ben Carroll, Minister of Industry and Employment at the Wyndham Youth Resource Centre in Hoppers Crossing.
